Pemmikan Energy Bars

Kronch Pemmikan is a high energy supplement to your dogs regular diet, and contains about 6.000 kcal./kg.

Kronch Pemmikan consists of mainly fat, protein, and sugar and are used as a food source for dogs carrying out high energy work, field trialing, agility, flyball or fell walking and many other activities.With Kronch Pemmikan it is possible to give the dog large amounts of easily digestible energy in a small portion. As a result, the dogs stomach isn't overfilled.

To whom?

Kronch Pemmikan is ideal for agility, fly ball,racing, hunting and guard dogs during the periods of increased activity. If the dog is full of energy the performance is constant throughout the day. As a plus, it is also more attentive. Ben Randall, 2011 National Cocker Champion, uses the bars to good effect as do flyball and agility teams like Delta Flyball. Kronch Pemmikan helps reduce the stress dogs encounter in dog shows and in other similar situations, such as long waiting periods. Kronch Pemmikan also makes the dog easier to handle.

Highly active and competitive dogs are given 100 - 200 grams of Kronch Pemmikan per day, depending on the dogs weight and its level of activity. Show dogs, hunting dogs, guard dogs, sled dogs, and other types of dogs are fed in the same way.

The effect of Kronch Pemmikan sets in after about half an hour and maximum effect is reached after about an hour and a half. Because of this, it may be advantageous to split the daily ration into several small portions to keep the dogs performance constant throughout the day.

After the period of intense physical activity, the dogs are fed Kronch Active or Kronch Basic, which contains plenty of proteins and fat (oil) obtained from fresh salmon.

Kronch Pemmikan can also be used for feeding up under weight dogs.

Development

Kronch Pemmikan was developed in cooperation with the Sirius Patrol, Ben Randall, Delta Flyball and many other top competitiors. We have supplied the Sirius Patrol with Kronch Pemmikan for their sled dogs for many years. Several other people, including hunters and dog sports people in Denmark have also tested Kronch Pemmikan as a supplement to their dogs daily diets. Tests shows that the dogs maintain a constant level of performance throughout the day.

Kronch Pemmikan is also part of the feeding program on the Sirius 2000 EXPEDITION.

Ingredients

Lard, vegetable fat, fish meal, glucose, maize, barley, brewers yeast, rice, sugar beet and garlic.

Kronch Pemmican contains 24% protein and 59% fat.

Kronch Pemmikan is manufactured using the same principle as a bar of chocolate. One bar is divided into 8 sections, each with a weight of 50 grams. These sections are easily broken off to feed to your dog. One square is the equivilent to approx 6 hours food. Kronch Pemmikan is available in 400g bars.

Including transport and morning parole, home is left about one and a half hour before the test begins.

It is clear that a dog fed with Kronch Pemmikan keeps the ability to perform optimally thoughout the day. It is also clear, that the dogs' performance without Kronch Pemmikan decreases as the day progresses. The two dogs are treated and fed equally, except for one which is fed with Kronch Pemmikan.
